Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

- Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy

- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting

- Maintain general ledger entries

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation

Requirements:

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

- Familiarity with public accounting practices

- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of budgeting processes is a plus
